Acknowledging the recent trend towards more elaborate and powerful home
theatre systems, we are delighted to introduce the new Response CC Two.
Following the highly successful CC One, this radical new design delivers
greater bandwidth, higher output and increased accuracy, without sacrificing
any of the smooth, open performance of its smaller brother.
Since most of the dialogue and an increasing proportion of sound effects
are relayed through the centre channel the priorities in this design
have been accuracy, naturalness and minimal colouration. This is especially
important when playing the latest generation of music DVD's.
At the hub of the CC Two design is a pair of completely new polypropylene
bass/midrange drive units which were produced to our own design specifically
for the CC Two. These exciting new drivers, featuring lighter voice coils
and shielded magnet assemblies, maximise the superb midrange reproduction
and clean bass performance associated with other fine ProAc designs using
high quality polypropylene cones.
Housed in a rigid and heavily damped enclosure and loaded by an equalised
reflex port, these two drivers link seamlessly through a refined crossover
network to a specially shielded version of one of our most expensive
dome tweeters. This exceptional unit delivers extended yet smooth and
detailed high frequency performance.
The overall result is a centre-channel unit which can handle anything,
especially high-output material, in new or conventional sound media.
A perfect complement to ProAc loudspeakers, it is also perfectly compatible
with other high quality home theatre loudspeaker systems.
